In 2023-24, Chernyshov split time between the KHL and the MHL, collecting four points in 34 games with Dynamo Moskva and 28 points in 22 games with MHK Dynamo Moskva. A smart, cerebral player who makes good decisions with the puck, Chernyshov was one of the better prospects available after the first night of the NHL Draft.
