After an 8-9-3 start, the Bruins fired Jim Montgomery [https://thehockeynews.com/news/boston-bruins-fire-coach-jim-montgomery], a coach who had compiled a .715 points percentage with them. Well, you can see why, since the last time they fired their coach, it turned out so well. It's pretty common to take a coach's side in these things, in fact it's almost as easy an out as firing a coach after a bad start.
