Chris Gawlik gives a review and grade of 2024-25 Synergy Hockey

Upper Deck 2024-25 Synergy Hockey was released on Jan. 15, 2025. Each box contains eight packs and three cards per pack. The retail price for a box of Upper Deck 2024-25 Synergy hockey is $110 USD.

There is no defined hit per box. Collectors can expect one numbered base card, SP Rookies Red, autographed card, or a Metal card.

Upper Deck created 11 new inserts for 2024-25 Synergy Hockey including Drop the Hammer, Monuments, Impressions, and the rare Interdimensional.

Macklin Celebrini Synergy Purple Rookie Auto / 99

The checklist for Upper Deck Synergy Hockey features a nice collection of rookies, veterans, and legends. However, Macklin Celebrini's rookie cards and autographs are extremely rare.

Gawlik's score for 2024-25 Upper Deck Synergy Hockey

Gawlik gave Upper Deck Synergy a score of 4.2. That does not mean Synergy is a bad product. Synergy is a very enjoyable product and worth ripping a box or two around release day.

However, the lack of Celebrini hits and low resale value of Synergy cards is what kept the score on the low side.

Synergy has commonly dropped in price significantly weeks after release. Celebrini is the driving force of a strong 2024-25 rookie class. There is potential for Synergy boxes and cards to hold better value than in year's past.

No Connor Bedard tax will also help.

    Happy hunting and collecting!
