Red Wings' Dylan Larkin Hits 600-Career Points in Win Over Kraken

In a landmark moment for one of the best Detroit Red Wings in recent history, Dylan Larkin recorded his 600th NHL point in Tuesday's 4–2 victory over the Seattle Kraken.

The milestone point was recorded with an empty net goal that sealed the win, improving the Red Wings to 12-7-1 on the season. The goal added to a career-start to the season for Larkin with 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points in 20 games. The game also featured a standout performance for Detroit top prospect Nate Danielson, who scored his first career goal as well as dishing for his first assist in a multi-point game.

Larkin has spent his entire NHL career with the Red Wings, making his debut in the 2015–16 season shortly after being selected 15th overall in the 2014 NHL Draft. 

The Michigan native was named Detroit's 37th captain in team history and has grown into a cornerstone of the franchise and in January 2025, became just the second-youngest player in Red Wings history to reach 700 games played, trailing only Steve Yzerman.

Over his career, Larkin has amassed 254 goals and 346 assists, totaling 600 points in 754 games. The 29-year-old center currently ranks 11th on the Red Wings’ all-time points list, just behind former Detroit winger Brendan Shanahan, who has 633 points.
