    Pavol Regenda was traded from the Ducks to the San Jose Sharks in the middle of last season and recently, he signed a two-way contract extension with the Sharks.

    Shortly before signing, Regenda appeared on a Slovak podcast, where he discussed why he didn't sign a potentially more lucrative deal in Russia, on the trade last season that took him from San Diego, "the most beautiful city in America", to San Jose, on living on an AHL salary in a major U.S. city, and the problem with playing for the Slovak national team.
