Shayne Gostisbehere, D, CAR at LA (88% rostered) – FanDuel $6,000
I think Gostisbehere is being undervalued in DFS games at this salary. He’s scored a point in four straight games to give him seven points this season, and note the Kings will be without top center Anze Kopitar, which will severely impact their two-way game.
Zeev Buium, D, MIN at PHI (78% rostered) – FanDuel $5,900
I expect this to be a high-event game with a lot of open space, which suits Buium’s game. The Wild are excellent at generating shots and the Flyers aren’t particularly good on defense, though their goaltending has been surprisingly good. Buium has scored all of his points on the power play this season.
Matthew Schaefer, D, NYI at OTT (70% rostered) – FanDuel $5,100
Just as how the Isles’ plan to shelter Schaefer on the third pairing lasted just one game, Patrick Roy has already put Schaefer on PP1 at Friday’s practice to replace Tony DeAngelo one day after saying he’d do so sooner than later. The Sens PK has been awful, having allowed nine goals on 20 opportunities.
