Plus a recently promoted Blue heating up for St. Louis
On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy hockey managers to stream, roster or utilize in standard leagues and/or DFS games. Players and goalies highlighted for streaming in standard leagues are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues.
Luke Evangelista, RW, NSH @ LV (7% rostered) - FanDuel $5,300
Evangelista's production spiked when he was on Nashville's first line for a few weeks span in late-November into early-December. He was surprisingly moved down to the second line, which adversely impacted his scoring. Evangelista is starting to find his game again, notching a pair of goals and as many assists his last five contests. He is now at six goals, 27 points, 87 shots on net and a plus-8 rating through 37 appearances.
Gage Goncalves, C/LW, TB @ ANA (0% rostered) - FanDuel $3,700
Goncalves, recently moved back to the Lightning's first line, is showing that he should remain in that spot. He has notched a goal and three assists his last four games despite seeing a maximum of 13:51 of ice time in any of those contests. Goncalves is seeing second unit power play time, which boosts his chances to remain productive.
Collin Graf, RW, SJ vs. MIN (8% rostered) - FanDuel $4,600
Graf saw his six-game point streak end Monday. During that span, Graf posted five goals and three assists. He was moved to San Jose's second line December 27, but still lit the lamp in that contest. If Graf remains on that line, his value is adversely impact since he won't be skating with Macklin Celebrini. But he is worth a look to see if he can remain hot even on the Sharks' second line.
Dmitri Voronkov, RW, CLM vs. NJ (30% rostered) - FanDuel $5,200
Voronkov has bounced between the top-three lines for Columbus this season. Currently, he is on the team's second trio and appears to be finding his form after going through another fallow period. Voronkov has a goal and two assists his last four games and 13 goals plus 12 assists in 38 contests this season. If he stays on the second line, look for Voronkov to have a hot streak.
Otto Stenberg, C, STL @ COL (0% rostered) - FanDuel $3,700
Stenberg, a first round pick, 25th overall in 2023, was promoted from AHL Springfield on December 15. He arrived in St. Louis after posting three goals and eight points over 21 appearances with the Thunderbirds. Stenberg was shut out his first two games with the Blues but has notched four assists his last four games while dishing out 11 hits so far in the NHL. Injuries has created opportunities in the Arch City, with Stenberg making the most of that chance.
