X-Factors HUT Cards have been in NHL for the last few years, and while some people like them and others dislike them, they’re cards that allow you to scale them up in order to keep them on par with the current meta in terms of overalls. Regardless of your opinion on them, they're a great investment if you're a fan of the player and great value to pull early game as they're worth quite a lot.

In NHL 24 however, they’ll be slightly different. 

In case you missed it, during the HUT Deep Dive from EASportsNHL, they actually revealed that instead of having X-Factors assigned to the best players in the league, each NHL team will have an X-Factor card. This will lead to some notable players not receiving X-Factor card versions such as Leon Draisaitl and Auston Matthews, but what it will do is allow fans of every NHL team to enjoy having a player from their favorite team on their HUT team, and one that can keep their squad competitive.
