Season 3 of World of Chel is here and features a ton of new additions to the game
World of Chel season three is now live in NHL 24 and features changes to the AI, a battle pass with over 90+ rewards, new superstar abilities and boosts you can equip on your loadouts, and two new preset player builds called Surge and Vector.
One Tee is no longer just a zone ability. EA has now made it a superstar abilities that you can equip on your loadouts. You will need to complete your placement games to unlock it. The requirements you need to equip One Tee are 80 hand-eye and 82 slap shot power.
The other superstar ability they added is Show Stopper for goalies. Show Stopper gives controlled goalies advanced saving ability when fatigued. This ability previously wasn't in the game. The requirements you need are 82 durability and 82 endurance.
EA also added a sixth zone ability to the three goalie player class types:
Butterfly - Light Work
Stand-Up - Extra Padding
Hybrid - Instincts
Based on community feedback that AI skaters are too overpowered. They have lowered the AI ratings for skaters and goalies in EASHL. Now we'll wait and see if Amar Gill and Markus Lindgren are still elite wingers or if they're now as bad as Jeff Lee on defense, and hopefully goalies don't allow goals like this anymore.

6v6: Grease City Pandas
3v3: Special
For PS5 and Xbox Series S/X:
6v6: Shmingledorf
3v3: Team X Blades
My club team in EASHL surprisingly went off in the Season two Elite Cup finals, winning a club banner. We finished 46th on the leaderboard in 6v6 with a record of 25-3-2. Our centerman scored this Bobby Orr like diving goal in one of our games.
The two new preset player loadouts in season three are Surge, which is playmaker with Unstoppable Force zone ability, and Vector, which is a dangler with Wheels. Wheels has never been in World of Chel and we'll see how effective it can be in EASHL matches.
