TSN's Darren Dreger has reported that Pittsburgh is hopeful to have a trade in place for their star winger Jake Guentzel within the next day. He's the number one forward on most trade bait boards.
Based on reports, Edmonton are a front runner to land Guentzel, so we take a look at what they would have to give up to land the first-line winger. It also sounds like teams aren't interested in working out an extension with Guentzel as part of the deal, and he will be acquired as a rental player for the remainder of the season.
