EC Red Bull Salzburg of the ICE Hockey League has announced that they have signed Rattie to a contract.
Rattie signing with EC Red Bull Salzburg comes after he split this past season between the SHL and the National League. In 30 games with Linkoping HC of the SHL last season, he posted five goals and an assist. While with HC Fribourg-Gotteron last season, he posted three goals and nine points in 11 games.
Rattie has been playing overseas since the 2019-20 season, where he has had stops in the KHL, Liiga, SHL, and NL. Now, he is heading to Austria with this latest signing.
Rattie appeared in 99 career NHL games over six seasons split between the St. Louis Blues, Carolina Hurricanes, and Oilers, where he posted 13 goals, 17 assists, and 30 points. He spent a good chunk of his NHL career with the Oilers, though. In 64 games over two seasons with Edmonton, he had nine goals and 20 points.
