Columbus Adds James Malatesta on Emergency Recall; Assigns David Jiricek Back To Cleveland

The Columbus Blue Jackets announced a couple of roster moves today.

They have called up forward James Malatesta on emergency recall. Malatesta has 21 points in 53 games this season for Cleveland.

Malatesta has a bit of snarl to his game, and many fans have been waiting for him to get his chance to play some games in Columbus. The 5'9'' 180lb forward will not hesitate to mix it up with the other team. He reminds a lot of people of one Matt Calvert. 

The team has also sent defenseman David Jiricek back to Cleveland just one day after calling him in case Zach Werenski couldn't play last night. Werenski was able to play, so instead of keeping Jiricek up, they will send him back down so he can continue playing in games.
