The Jackets have lost over 220 man games this season

Provorov Trade Or Extension?

Head Coach Dean Evason gave a post-practice injury update today. The CBJ, minus Zach Werenski who is with Team USA, returned to practice today.

Kirill Marchenko, Dante Fabbro, and Boone Jenner were all on the ice today for practice. That's a very good sign for the CBJ. At this time, it's unclear if any of them will play on Saturday, but it's looking like at least some of them will return.

Boone Jenner says, “I feel great. I feel like I’m ready to go.”

Kevin Labanc is out with an upper-body injury, and Yegor Chinakhov still isn't skating, according to Evason.

The injury list below could start getting a lot shorter as soon as this Saturday.

Injuries

  • Boone Jenner (shoulder) is on Injured Reserve on Oct. 7; (55 Games)
  • Erik Gudbranson (upper body) is on Injured Reserve on Oct. 16; (52 Games)
  • Yegor Chinakhov (upper body) is on Injured Reserve (34 Games)
  • Sean Monahan (upper body); is on Injured Reserve retroactive to Jan. 7 (12 Games)
  • Kirill Marchenko (jaw); is on Injured Reserve on Feb. 3 (2 Games)
  • Dante Fabbro (upper body) unknown return date (2 Games)

What's Next: Zach Werenski and Team USA will take on Canada in the Championship game of the 4-Nations Face-Off on Thursday. The rest of the CBJ return on Saturday to play the Chicago Blackhawks.
