Jackson Blake, Bradly Nadeau and Gavin Brindley all made their NHL debuts last night when the Carolina Hurricanes took on the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Nadeau and Blake took to the ice in Carolina's last game of the regular season as many of their regular fixtures were given the night off to rest ahead of the playoffs.

Nadeau, who recently finished his freshman season at Maine, logged 19:08 of ice time while finishing the night with three shots and a +/- of -3. Blake, who wrapped up his sophomore season with North Dakota, saw 15:18 of ice time and finished the night with two shots and a +/- of -2.

Brindley, whose sophomore season ended in the Frozen Four semifinals last week, made his debut alongside fellow Blue Jackets prospect Luca Del Bel Belluz. While Del Bel Belluz scored just 3:37 into the first period, Brindley didn't register a point in his debut but finished the night with 12:20 of ice time and a +/- of 0.

All four players are expected to push for spots out of training camp next year.
