Wilmer, the native of Rockville Centre, N.Y., has two years of college eligibility left

Boston University forward Jeremy Wilmer has entered the transfer portal after two seasons with the Terriers, it was announced Monday.

Wilmer, who played his junior hockey with the U.S. NTDP and the Tri-City Storm, was an important part of the Terriers' offense over the past two seasons.

This past season, he scored six goals and added 30 assists for 36 points in 38 games. Over the course of his 75 career NCAA games so far, Wilmer has 15 goals and 53 assists for 68 points.

While Wilmer stands at only 5-foot-8, he has great confidence with the puck on his stick, carrying it in transition where he attacks open lanes and looks to create. As many players continue to enter the portal, Wilmer should be an enticing option for a team looking for a high-impact player with two years of eligibility remaining.
