White tied for the team lead in points last season

Former UMass-Lowell forward A.J. White has signed a one-year extension with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads, the team announced Wednesday.
White, who hails from Dearborn, Mich., suited up for the Steelheads last season where he scored 27 goals and added 39 assists for 66 points in 71 regular season games.
Before jumping into the professional game at the end of the 2015-16 season, White spent four seasons with the River Hawks, posting 79 points in 153 career games. He also served as captain of the team during his senior season.
Over the course of his eight-year pro career, White has spent six of those seasons with Idaho. Having served as their captain in four of those seasons, White brings a scoring touch and veteran leadership that makes him a valuable member of the team.
