Grant entered the transfer portal after one season at NMU, Hampton was committed to the Wildcats but never played a game

Grant & Hampton Slukynsky have committed to play at Western Michigan, Brad Elliott Schlossman reported Wednesday.
The Slukynsky brothers were both scheduled to suit up for Northern Michigan in 2024-25 but both changed their minds after Grant Potulny's departure.
Grant just finished up his freshman season with the Wildcats and Hampton was slated to start his freshman campaign in the fall.
With nine points in 34 games during his freshman season, Grant should slot into the middle of the Broncos lineup right away. While he might not put up top of the line numbers out of the gates, Grant will be one to watch for down the line.
Hampton, a 2023 fourth-round pick of the Los Angeles Kings, could take the starting job for the Broncos immediately and run with it. Coming off an impressive season that saw put up a .923 SV% with the Fargo Force (USHL), the younger Slukynsky brother could be one of the better NCAA goalies in the near future.
As both players get ready to suit up for the first time together, it will make for an intriguing storyline to follow when the NCAA season does get underway.
