Makway is currently playing for the BCHL's Trail Smoke Eaters

Trail Smoke Eaters forward Judah Makway has committed to Alaska-Anchorage, it was announced late last week.
A product of Trail, B.C., Makway has collected 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points in 27 regular season games in 2024-25. Having spent parts of the past four seasons with the Smoke Eaters, Makway has 17 goals and 41 points in 104 career regular season games.
Prior to making the jump to the BCHL, Makway spent part of one season playing in the KIJHL with the Beaver Valley NiteHawks.
With Makway in his final season of BCHL eligibility, he has already bested his points total for last season by 10 points in 13 fewer games. A forward with size who knows who to use it, the Seawolves get an intriguing add for next season.
