Katzin is currently playing for the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers

Green Bay Gamblers forward Lev Katzin has committed to Penn State, it was announced Thursday.

Previously committed to Harvard, the Thornhill, Ont., native has collected three assists in five USHL games so far. With this being his second season with the Gamblers, Katzin collected 10 goals and 23 assists for 33 points in 57 regular season games as a rookie.

Prior to making the jump to juniors, Katzin played his minor hockey with the Toronto Marlboros, putting up an impressive 56 goals and 87 assists for 143 points in 81 games during his U16 year.

As Katzin gets set to join the Nittany Lions next season, he has all the tools needed to make an impact at the NCAA level. Although he stands at 5-foot-8, Katzin navigates well with the puck in tight areas and can make plays that not many others can.
