Zajic is currently playing for the U.S. NTDP U17

Lucas Zajic, a current member of the U.S. NTDP U17, has committed to the University of Wisconsin, he announced Tuesday.
It was reported that Michigan State was the other finalist for Zajic.
A product of Plainfield, Ill., Zajic has played in eight games so far for the NTDP, collecting five goals and three assists for eight points. In 2023-24, he played for Shattuck St. Mary's 15U, putting up 75 points in 55 games.
Although Zajic is a few years away from making the jump to the NCAA, he has already made a difficult jump look easy, continuing his production right away from AAA into the NTDP. If his current success in any indication of the future, he will be one to watch.
