Djurasevic transferred to Maine after one season at Merrimack

Maine defenseman Frank Djurasevic has been invited to Winnipeg Jets development camp, Mark Divver reported Monday.

Djurasevic, who just transferred to the Black Bears after one season at Merrimack, scored four goals and added six assists for 10 points in 35 games during his freshman season.

A native of New Rochelle, N.Y., Djurasevic played three seasons for the Pentiction Vees (BCHL) before joining the NCAA. In 161 BCHL games, he had 23 goals and 82 assists for 105 points.

As Djurasevic heads to Jets development camp, it will be a good opportunity to showcase his skills to an NHL staff. While his freshman numbers don't pop off the page, Djurasevic should be a prime candidate to have a strong sophomore season at Maine.
