    Guerriero is joining USA Hockey as their director of player development

    Northeastern Huskies assistant coach Jason Guerriero is leaving the program to take a new job at USA Hockey, it was reported Tuesday. 

    Having served as an assistant coach with the Huskies for the past three seasons, Guerriero is joining USA Hockey as their director of player development. 

    Before getting into coaching in 2011, Guerriero enjoyed a six-year pro career that saw him suit up in the AHL, UHL, Finland, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany and Denmark. 

    Guerriero's first coaching gig came with Holy Cross, where he would stay for two seasons as an assistant coach. Following that, Guerriero would coach at Yale (2013-15) and Brown (2015-2022) before joining Northeastern. 

    As Guerriero heads to join USA Hockey in his new role, he will bring valuable insight with him. Guerriero knows what it takes to be a pro and will be able help guys learn what it takes to make it to the next level.
