Ewart entered the transfer portal on Apr. 30 after spending one season with the Huskies

Word around the college hockey world seems to suggest St. Cloud State defenseman Tynan Ewart will transfer to Ferris State.

Ewart, who recently finished his freshman season with the Huskies, had five assists in 19 games.

Prior to joining St. Cloud State, Ewart played his junior hockey for the Battlefords North Stars in the SJHL where he had 14 goals and 74 assists for 88 points in 114 games across parts of three seasons.

Standing at 6-foot-2, Ewart knows how to use his size effectively and sees the ice well with the puck on his stick, making a good first pass from the defensive zone.

Ferris State have been busy with the transfer portal over the last couple months with four confirmed transfers including forwards Max Itagaki, Cole Burtch, and Gavin Best as well as goaltender Noah West.
