Rochester Institute of Technology forward Cody Laskosky has transferred to Wisconsin, it was announced Thursday.
A native of Camrose, Alta., Laskosky spent the past four seasons playing for the Tigers where he had 84 points in 124 games. His best season statistically came this past season where he had 14 goals and 27 assists for 41 points in 37 games.
Laskosky is a great get for Wisconsin, who have lost several players to the transfer portal over the last few months, including Brady Cleveland and Cruz Lucius to name a few.
Wisconsin had a good bounce back season in 2023-24, finishing with a 26-12-2 record which was good for second place in the Big Ten standings.
Coming into the program, Laskosky will most likely see big minutes next season. With his offensive pedigree, he should be a good candidate to be near the top of the points leaderboard.
