Fanti spent two seasons with the University of Minnesota-Duluth

The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Ryan Fanti to a one-year contract, the team announced this past week.

A product of Thunder Bay, Ont., Fanti spent the 2023-24 season with the Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL) where he posted a 9-6-1 record to go along with a 2.75 GAA and a .915 SV% in 17 appearances.

Prior to turning pro at the end of the 2021-22 season, Fanti spent two seasons with the Bulldogs, posting a 31-19-6 record, a 2.01 GAA and a .921 SV% in 57 appearances.

As Fanti gets set to join the Crunch, he will most likely also see time with the Orlando Solar Bears given he's only seen nine AHL games across parts of four seasons since turning pro.
