    The Boston College forward scores overtime goal as U.S. repeats

    Matthew Dae Smith/Lansing State Journal - Teddy Stiga Wins Gold For U.S. At World Juniors

    Teddy Stiga, a forward for Boston College, scored the overtime winner to lift the United States to its second consecutive gold medal at the 2025 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Denver's Zeev Buium assisted Stiga with a stellar stretch pass.

    Boston University's Cole Hutson and Brandon Svoboda, and Eagles forward James Hagens also scored for the U.S. Boston College forward Ryan Leonard, who recorded two assists in the win, was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

    Michigan State netminder Trey Augustine stopped 21 shots in the win for the U.S.
