Sylvanie-Imagn Images Medicine Hat Tigers forward Cayden Lindstrom has committed to Michigan State, it was announced on Thursday. A native of Chetwynd, B.C., Lindstrom missed the entire 2024-25 WHL regular season with a back injury but returned for the playoffs, where he recorded two goals and two assists in four games. He failed to tally a point in three Memorial Cup games for Medicine Hat. Lindstrom was selected in the first round, fourth overall, by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. A 2006-born skater, Lindstrom will make the jump to the NCAA and join the Spartans for the 2025-26 season. He'll likely make an impact as a freshman.
