Wisconsin's Brady Cleveland has transferred to Colorado College for the 2024-25 season.

The Red Wings prospect announced his transfer on Twitter/X Monday afternoon after spending one season with the Badgers.

The former U.S. NTDP defenseman and native of Wausau, WI., played 16 games during his freshman campaign where he went pointless.

Cleveland was drafted by the Red Wings in the second round (47th overall) in the 2023 NHL Draft. More of a stay-at-home defender, he defends the rush well, using his active stick to keep players to the perimeter awhile preventing the puck from being moved into the middle of the ice.

The Tigers iced an older defensive core this past season, so Cleveland's age and physical presence will be a valuable addition to the blue line.
