Ferris is currently suiting up for the NAHL's Johnstown Tomahawks

Johnstown Tomahawks goaltender Zack Ferris has committed to Army, it was announced earlier this week. 

Hailing from Venetia, Pa., Ferris has split time this season between the Tomahawks and the BCHL's West Kelowna Warriors. In 15 appearances for Johnstown, he has a record of 10-5-0, a GAA of 3.12 and a .914 SP. In two appearances for the Warriors, he had a 7.32 GAA and a .822 SP.

Since making the jump to juniors in 2022-23, Ferris has played in the NCDC, NAHL and the BCHL. 

With Ferris making the jump to the NCAA next season, he may not see playing time right out of the gate but should get a shot to prove himself throughout his freshman season. He moves well in his net and tracks the puck efficiently which will help him.
