

Everybody is missing something. Or, should I say everybody is missing somebody.

The man who created and built the last Rangers Stanley Cup-winner is Neil Smith. Neil and Rangers icon Frank Boucher should have banners before any of the others.
Smith became Rangers manager in 1989 and five years later The Big Apple went ga-ga over Stanley.
So, how come the amnesia? The Islanders have a banner honoring dynasty-maker Bill Torrey. Certainly the man who deleted the "1940" curse rates serious consideration.
