Ht: 6-foot-5 Wt: 210 pounds

DOB: June 2, 1965 In: Burlington, Ont.

First Hockey Memory: "That's going back a long time. Just the teammates I played with in minor hockey. We had a good team and won a few championships. Those are the memories I have. Welland minor hockey."

Hockey Inspirations: "I loved the game when I was a kid. But I had two players who were my favorite players – one was Bobby Hull and one was Tony Esposito. And I just saw Phil (Esposito) go by (in the Tampa Bay Lightning press box). I love Chicago; that was my team as a kid. Those two players were very, very special players when I was a kid. I could watch them all day long."

Nicknames:
"I had a couple: Gumby, Quimby, The Mighty Quim, Long Streak of Misery (smiles)."

Favorite Movies: "I like a lot of different ones: Gladiator, some of the old ones."

Favorite TV Shows: "ESPN SportsCenter."

Musical Tastes: "I like a little bit of everything – U2, Breaking Benjamin. And I like some pop and techno as well."

Last Book Read: "Oh, I don't know, I don't really read too many books."

Early Pro Hockey Memory: "Probably my first goal against Vancouver, second game. My days in Chicago were good, a lot of good teammates, good people."

First Job: "Cleaning golf clubs at a golf course."

Current Car: "A Honda Accord (silver)."

Favorite Arena: "The old Chicago Stadium was my favorite. I loved all the old rinks, but that was our home rink. It's gone now. I've got a lot of memories and I still have a few pictures. Kinda special, you know?"

Greatest Sports Moment: "Probably the combination of the Memorial Cup and the gold medal in world juniors in the same six months. That's probably the highlight of my career."

Biggest Sports Thrill: "Just to be in the NHL."

Most Painful Moment:
"When I broke my jaw. That one of my good friends hit me. (Who?)Mike Peluso. (With a shot?) No, with a shoulder (smiles)."

Favorite Uniforms: "Probably Chicago. But I enjoyed every one of them. I played for five different teams – Buffalo, Chicago, Islanders, Tampa, St. Louis – they were all good, but Chicago had the best uniforms."

Closest NHL Friends: "Steve Thomas, Brian Bradley, Denis Savard, Doug Wilson. Any guy I meet I was friends with all of them. So I didn't have too many enemies, only on the other teams."

Funniest Players Encountered: "Marc Bergevin, Wayne Van Dorp."

Toughest Competitors Encountered:
"Oh geez, all of 'em."

Most Underrated Player: "Dirk Graham."

Most Helpful Teammate During Your Rookie Year:
"Mike Foligno."

Favorite Players To Watch: "I like to watch a lot of the young kids like Zetterberg, Datsyuk. Those two are really special. I think Zetterberg is a really special player with his speed with the fact that he tries hard every night. He's smart. Each team has great, great players. The problem is, I think a lot of it's watered down also. You don't really see the best hockey. That's why, when you get a good team, it's nice to go and watch. It's hard to put together a good team I think in today's game."

Strangest Game: "Actually, maybe coming down here to Tampa and playing in the baseball stadium (St. Pete Thunderdome). That was kind of weird at the time. I never would have believed that if you told me in the beginning of my career I'd be playing in Tampa in a baseball stadium. I never would have believed it."

Most Memorable Goal: "I would probably say the first one."

Personality Qualities Most Admired:
"I think people who are happy. And don't take advantage of other people."
