Native of the Greater Indianapolis area still missing our best chance at an NHL club from 50 years ago with our old Racers. If it weren't for Nelson Skalbania we would have entered with the other WHA teams; however, we also wouldn't have seen Wayne Gretzky in Edmonton either! So I became a Maple Leafs fan instead during the great Sittler, McDonald & Salming years and remain as frustrated as any other fan living in a flat on Carlton St still waiting for our beloved team to bring a Cup home. And at my age now, I can firmly say "Just one before I die!". So in honor of it all I want to be known as the Nelson Skalbania Fund...a comical moniker in protest of my personal hockey pain and suffering.Joined at May 10, 2024Published
