Icon Wayne Gretzky has done it all, with the lone exception of being a grandfather. But The Great One is now one of those, too, as his daughter Paulina and her husband, golf star Dustin Johnson, welcomed a newborn boy into the world Monday.

There isn't much Wayne Gretzky hasn't done in his time on the planet. But one week before his 54th birthday, Gretzky had a rookie experience to remember when his daughter Paulina gave birth to a boy – The Great One's first grandchild.

As reported by TMZ, Paulina – who is engaged to professional golfer Dustin Johnson – welcomed a boy into the world in Los Angeles on Monday. They had announced the pregnancy in September, and although the name of Gretzky's grandson isn't yet known, in keeping with Gretzky tradition, the boy's name does start with a T. (Paulina's brothers are named Trevor, Tristan and Ty.)

A new generation of Gretzkys means one thing: the NHL draft class of 2033 is officially on notice.
