

It's an annual tradition that brings out the best in hockey fans and they're particularly good at it in Calgary. The Western League's Hitmen held their 20th teddy bear toss on Sunday and the result was 25,214 stuffed animals being launched onto the ice, all of which were to be donated to charity. Not only were there a lot of bears at the rink for the game, but there was also a great crowd. More than 17,500 fans took in the contest, which ended in an 8-3 victory over the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors.
