Montreal (34-24-7) at Dallas (31-26-8), 6:00 pm EDT

DALLAS (Ticker) -- The Montreal Canadiens will try to avoid a

third straight loss when they visit the Dallas Stars on Sunday.

Following a 5-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, the

Canadiens suffered a 2-0 setback to the Atlanta Thrashers on

    Friday.

Carey Price, who made 26 saves in that one, has not won in over

a month. The 21-year-old is 0-6-1 over his last eight

    appearances.

Loui Eriksson scored two goals and Marty Turco made 36 saves as

Dallas edged the Anaheim Ducks, 3-2, on Friday in a battle of

    Pacific Division foes.

Mike Ribeiro scored a power-play goal and Steve Ott notched two

assists for the Stars, who moved into a three-way tie with

Nashville and Columbus for the seventh spot in the crowded

    Western Conference playoff picture.
