DOB: April 30, 1991 In: Boxford, Ma.

First Hockey Memory: "Pushing the chair around the ice in Charleston, where I first learned to skate."

Hockey Inspirations: "A lot of Boston Bruins. I grew up a Boston Bruins fan. Ray Bourque, actually. It's kind of funny, I'm pretty close with (his son) Ryan (teammate in Hartford of AHL) and his family."

Last Book Read: "It's called - kinda geeky - The Song Of Ice And Fire (by George R.R. Martin). There's supposed to be nine books in the series, each over 1,000 pages. I just finished up number six and waiting on number seven."

Nickname: "Kreid. That's about it (chuckles)."

Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: "Chocolate."

First Famous Hockey Player You Met Or Encountered: "Rob Zamuner. Which is funny because I talked to him recently, because he works at the PA. I went over to his house and asked him for his autograph when I was a little kid, when he was living in the same town as myself. And I told him how much that meant to me when I was such a little kid. Kinda cool, little story I guess."

Current Car: "I'm in between cars right now."

Greatest Sports Moment: "Between winning the World Junior Championship and winning National Championship (with Boston College)."

Most Painful Moment: "Losing in the playoffs last year in Game 6."

Funniest Player(s) Encountered: "Michael Haley. Probably Andrew Yogan. Barry Almeida, who's with Hershey. Some guys from my BC team."

Toughest Competitors Encountered: "Ryan Callahan. Tommy Cross."

Embarrassing Memory: "I think once or twice I went out on the ice with skate guards still on my skates. Fumbled around a little bit before I realized it."

Favorite Uniforms: "I liked Hershey's. Those were pretty cool. I don't know, there's a lot of cool ones."

Favorite Arena To Play: "Madison Square Garden."

Strangest Game: "In college we played Yale. We were winning 9-2 and ended up winning like 9-7. Everything was going in. Someone scored from almost full ice. Just everything that was thrown was going in. They played all three of their goalies. And all of a sudden they started scoring goals. It was a real wild game."

Favorite Sport Outside Hockey: "I like 'em all. I like soccer. I like football."

Three Athletes You Like To Watch And Follow: "Ray Lewis. Kevin Garnett...I guess Lionel Messi."

Personality Qualities Most Admired: "Kind-hearted. Personable. Funny."
