    Hockey Inspirations: "Well, obviously, my inspiration was to make the NHL, as a kid, watching some of my idols growing up - Denis Savard, Patrick Roy. I was a Montreal fan. Watching those guys made me strive to want to be a better hockey player. And try to make the NHL."

    Nicknames: "Neiler, Neil-Dog."



    Early Hockey Memory:
    "Winning a Silver Stick back in Canada, it's a big hockey tournament and we won our division, that was pretty memorable. And MVP of the tournament. So it was definitely one of the highlights."

    Favorite Movies: "Roadhouse."

    Last Book Read: "I'm reading George Foreman right now - Big George."

    Favorite TV Shows: "I'd probably have to say Friends."

    Current Car: "I have a Q7 Audi."

    First Job: "My own grass cutting company (laughs)."

    Pre-game Feeling: "Privilege and honor to play with this group of guys."

    Greatest Sports Moment: "Making the Stanley Cup final."

    Most Painful Moment: "Losing in the Stanley Cup final (laughs)."

    Favorite Uniforms: "I like our black ones."

    Favorite Arena: "Washington. (Why?) My brother lives there - Washington Capital fan. I had my first Gordie Howe (hat trick) there, so it was pretty exciting."

    Funny Memory: "I've seen some funny stuff...probably Magnus Arvedson painted my teeth with permanent markers. So I went to put 'em in and the teeth were black (smiles)."

    Strangest Game: "11-5 against Washington."

    Most Memorable Goal: "Game 3, Stanley Cup final, scored. So being able to score in the Stanley Cup final was pretty exciting."

    Favorite Players To Watch: "I like Ovechkin. Obviously, Crosby. Those guys are pretty exciting to watch. Gotta be aware when they're out on the ice."

    Favorite Sport Outside Hockey: "I like playing baseball. I don't like watching though."

    "Genuine people. Like, what you see is what you get. People who don't - you're not out of the ordinary - you don't act different just because you're around certain people."
