

The NHL and ESPN are once again combining puck and player tracking with animation for an animated NHL telecast.
The Washington Capitals and New York Rangers will play in the Inside Out Classic, featuring real-time animation using characters from the Inside Out movie series. It takes place on April 5 at 7 p.m. ET on the Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney+ and ESPN+.

I always thought these real-time animated games are very cool. Obivously, a lot of fans will watch the regular version of the game on ESPN, but for children and their families, this is a fun way to grow the game.
