I thought this year's world juniors were pretty fun to watch. Sweden ended a lengthy gold medal drought despite being one of the favorites every year, and Czechia continue to be a rising power in men's junior hockey. Canada were an offensive powerhouse, scoring some highlight-reel goals, and the Americans had some electric moments before their quarterfinal exit.

I hate to bring up attendance again, but I will, since that affects things a bit. Maybe Grand Casino Arena was just too big a venue compared to past years, such as in Sweden in 2024 which had slightly better attendance numbers for the medal day but had a smaller capacity, making for a packed crowd. But I don't think there's anybody to blame for that; the fans that attended had many memorable moments to watch in person.

So I think Minnesota hosted a very strong World Junior Championship this year. What do you think?
