I admittedly was thinking of the same question on Monday before The Athletic's Julian McKenzie published this great feature on the Tkachuk brothers. He reported that Matthew Tkachuk said he and Brady have been presented with opportunities to have their own podcast like longtime NFLers Jason (retired) and Travis Kelce do with their New Heights show.

So, the question, "are the Tkachuk brothers the NHL's Kelce brothers" can be thought of in two different ways. One way is thinking about whether they are or can be as much of a media presence in the NHL world as the Kelce brothers are in the NFL world. Their uptick in media appearances, whether it's on others' podcasts, on the Tonight Show or in commercials, suggests they're on track to be like the Kelce brothers.

The other way is looking at their results in competition. The Kelce brothers each won the Super Bowl and were first-team all-pros at least four times. Travis Kelce was also named to the NFL's 2010 all-decade team.

Matthew Tkachuk has won the Stanley Cup twice, while Brady Tkachuk got his first taste of playoff action in the first round of last season. Matthew was named to the NHL's second all-star team twice, while Brady was on the all-rookie team in 2019. And Matthew was also a finalist for the Hart Trophy in 2023 but didn't win it.

    So, what do you think?
