    The Edmonton Oilers lost to the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup final for the second-straight year, and this time, in six games instead of a full seven.

    It was clear through the 2025 Cup final that the Panthers were simply a deeper team than the Oilers, despite Edmonton having the top forward pair in the NHL in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

    With this in mind, what would you do this off-season if you had the job as GM of the Oilers? Emma Lingan and Michael Augello talked recently about whether Stamkos and Marchessault should even become trade bait.
