While the Seattle PWHL team, which will begin play in the 2025-26 season, doesn't have a name yet, VSA, a creative agency, has proposed that the team be called the Seattle Mutiny. The name fits with the city's maritime aspects and also lines up well with the already existing NHL franchise, the Seattle Kraken.
