Going into the season, no one was expecting Washington Capitals right winger Tom Wilson to put up career numbers, but that's exactly what he's on pace to do. Through 28 games, he leads the Capitals with 30 points and also has a +17 rating. Wilson has also continued to be an enforcer, having already tallied 54 penalty minutes.
Due to his remarkable start and ability to be a contribute on offense, defence and as an enforcer, many people are wondering if he'll make Team Canada's roster for the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics.
According to NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun, it appears "likely" Tom Wilson will swap in for Philadelphia Flyers right winger Travis Konecny.
Konecny appeared on Canada's roster for the 2025 4-Nations Face-Off, where he recorded no points and a minus two rating in one game. Through 26 games this year with the Flyers, Konecny has 22 points and a plus seven rating.
Who do you think should make Team Canada's roster: Wilson or Konecny?
