I've been a hockey fan for a very long time. It was a releif when the NHL reeled in hooking and holding that was slowing the game down and holding back the stars of the game. In the playoffs and regular season the after the whistle scrums and face washing is disgusting. These scrums are a waste of time, extends the game time and potentially gets a player hurt. It's nothing more that a bully tactic and is a shame the NHL continues to allow such rediculous on ice BS. This is not hockey and it's elevevated to a rediculous event, useless and boring. NHL step in and let the boys show their hockey shills and not the boxing skills. I like a good fight 1 on 1. But, after the whisle stuff is not what the NHL should be about
