This was a crescendo effect from my previous predictions that Larkin would only give 3 teams to be traded to and two of those teams would be very unlikely trading partners and the other one would be Minnesota.  Which happened.

My reasoning for this was that my belief was that Larkin hated the idea of leaving Detroit but had come to the point where he realized in his own mind that his professional goals would not be achieved as a Red Wing. He goals was to use every leverage he could with his agent to find the best landing spot for his family if Detroit was not going to be an option. Minnesota seemed to me to be that spot.
