What about trading Seth Jones and eating part of his salary? Can you get value from some of those cup contending teams looking for Defensemen? I was thinking Toronto. Maybe we could get Marner in return? Yes, I Know there is a lot of term for Seth, but he brings a high-end value for a good team.
