Was Detroit always looking to trade Edvinsson.? Trade proposal.

I said that i felt it was likely that Edvinsson would be traded when he chose to go back to Sweden during his contract negotiations and sure enough, he has officially said he would prefer to be traded. I could be wrong, but I think it is possible that Detroit was always considering trading Edvinsson to possibly acquire a young center that they are not able to get with Larkin in order to take a future type of trade for Larkin from Minnesota that could also include Brodin to fill that top LD spot while younger players develop. This would end the Larkin drama and allow the team to move forward with a mitt full of picks they can use to add more players and the young center they crave, As good as Edvinsson is, and he is really good, he is a left defensemen and they are much easier to acquire than top centers. In this way I kind of get the idea of doing this. It actually makes sense. That may be the reason it does not happen, as I am not very confident in Detroit's decision makers right now, but here is a trade I think might work.
