    Several high-profile television analysts have called out Blackhawks sophomore Connor Bedard, but maybe he's just tired of carrying his team on his back, says Ken Campbell.

    Regardless of whether or not they played in the NHL and how good or bad their careers were, Mark Messier and Paul Bissonnette have every right to call out Connor Bedard and any other NHL player if they see deficiencies in their games. That is what they are paid to do.

    Both have pointed out to their audiences that Bedard has been found lacking of late in his play with the Chicago Blackhawks. It has been a difficult season for both, but the best reason for that is perhaps Bedard is just a little tired. After all, it's really hard to carry a bunch of subpar teammates for five years.

    That's exactly what Bedard has been doing, going back to his days with the Regina Pats of the WHL.

    Bedard is going to be just fine. And when it's all said and done, this will be nothing more than a blip on an otherwise brilliant career.

    Although Bedard says he doesn't care about what the analysts say about him, the comments could even be a motivating factor. Here's more in today's video column:
