DALLAS - Free-agent winger Landon Wilson signed a one-year contract Thursday with the Dallas Stars, his fifth NHL team. He is the son of Dallas assistant coach Rick Wilson.

The 33-year-old Wilson has played for Colorado, Boston, Phoenix and Pittsburgh since being a first-round draft pick in 1993. He has played the last four seasons in Europe.

The Stars also signed winger Francis Wathier and defencemen Maxime Fortunus and Garrett Stafford to two-year contracts. Each played in the minors last season.
