    EDMONTON - The Edmonton Oilers are bringing back defenceman Theo Peckham.

    The 24-year-old signed a US$1.075-million, one-year deal with Edmonton on Monday after scoring a goal with two assists and 80 penalty minutes in 54 games last season.

    Peckham has spent his entire five-year career with Edmonton.

    The six-foot-two, 235-pound blue-liner has four goals, 13 assists and 382 penalty minutes in 156 career NHL games.

    Peckham was drafted 75th overall by Edmonton in 2006.
